If you purchased a new Passport Brand Western Edition Trailer from a Keystone-authorized dealership in California before December 1, 2019, with a Serial Number that sequentially ends after HX414101, a judgment in a class action affects your rights and may entitle you to receive $2,000.
A class action lawsuit known as Guisinger v. Keystone RV Company, Case No. 23-cv-01393-MWC-RAO (the “lawsuit”), was pending in the United States District Court for the Central District of California (the “Court”) against Defendant Keystone RV Company (“Keystone”).
The lawsuit alleges that Keystone began manufacturing its Western Edition Passport Travel Trailers with wood roof trusses after September 2016 while representing the trailers were manufactured with “5 [inch] Crowned / Stamped Galvanized Steel Roof Trusses” until December 2019. Keystone denies Plaintiff’s legal claims.
Judgment has been entered in favor of Plaintiff and the Class for all Class Members who currently own Class Trailers with wood roof trusses. The Judgment entitles each such Class Member with wood trusses, who submits a valid Request for Payment with supporting documentation, to $2,000.00.
If you received a mailing about this Judgment, you were identified as owner of a Class Trailer that may have wood trusses.
If your vehicle has wood trusses and you submit a valid Request for Payment and acceptable supporting documentation, the Judgment Administrator will send you a check for $2,000.00 in satisfaction of this Judgment. If you do not submit a Request for Payment or acceptable supporting documentation, you will not receive the $2,000.00. If your Class Trailer has metal roof trusses, you will not receive the $2,000.00.
