Submit a Request for Payment - Instructions

If you purchased a new Passport Brand Western Edition Trailer from a Keystone authorized dealership in California before December 1, 2019, and it was constructed with wood roof trusses, you can file a Request for Payment to receive a $2,000 Judgment. You will need to provide supporting documents proving that you own the vehicle, for example a Certificate of Title, current Vehicle Registration, DMV records, or current proof of insurance.

Note: If you are unsure whether your vehicle has wood trusses, you can confirm this by removing screws from a vent in the bathroom and conducting a visual inspection of the trusses.

Your Request for Payment must be submitted by August 28, 2026. If you submit it by mail, it must be postmarked by August 28, 2026.



File Online:

Before Filing: You will need the Unique ID and PIN printed on the Request for Payment form that you received in the mail. If you did not receive a Judgment Notice packet or have lost yours, please contact the Judgment Administrator at 1-877-239-7718 to request your login information.

During Filing: As part of filling out your Request for Payment, you may be asked to verify your contact information as well as details about the vehicle you owned, including the date of purchase. You must also provide supporting documentation showing you currently own the class trailer. Finally, you will need to provide tax information so that if your Request for Payment is approved, we can issue you the appropriate IRS Form 1099.

You must provide proof that you currently own the Class Trailer. Acceptable supporting documentation includes:

  • Your current vehicle registration,
  • A certificate of title,
  • DMV records, or
  • Proof of current insurance

After Filing: After submitting your completed Request for Payment online, you will receive an email with a Confirmation Code for your completed submission. Be sure to keep your confirmation email and Confirmation Code and refer to them if you have any questions about your Request for Payment.
